She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Didactics of Social Sciences at the University of Granada. She has a PhD. in Art History (2011), a Master’s in Cultural Management (2007) and a Master’s in Art History: Research and Protection of Historical Heritage (2009). Her master’s degree project, “Memoria i exilio. El pintor Ramón Medina Tur”, was awarded by the Instituto de Estudios Ibicencos (2009) and her doctoral thesis “Artistas andaluces exiliados en México”, has been recognized with the extraordinary doctorate award (2015). Her researches focus on the Spanish and Latin American Contemporary Art and didactics of heritage advancement.
