She has a Humanities degree from the University of Jaén and a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Granada. She obtained a fellowship from Instituto de Estudios Giennenses (2007-2009) to work on the photographic archives. She also has worked as a researcher for the said institution in projects such as “Memoria Histórica: The Civil War Archives” managing documents and photographs related to this period. Her lines of work are center on the study of photography as documentary heritage and British projection of the Alhambra in the Victorian architecture. Her publications include: “Norteamérica Viaja. Visiones del Real Alcázar y la Alhambra en el siglo XIX”(2014) “Arquitectura y Alhambrismo en Nuevo México. El Scottish Rite Temple” (2015) Alhambras de Papel (2018).
