Luis Gordo Peláez

He received a Ph.D. in art history from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2009. He has recently joined the Art and Design Department at California State University, Fresno, as tenure-track assistant professor. Prior to California, since 2010, he has taught in the art history departments of several U.S. universities. He also has curatorial experience and has been awarded with internships (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Modern Art in New York). The history of urban space and civic architecture in the early modern Hispanic world are his primary research interests.
