Lisa A. Banner (Ph.D. Institute of Fine Arts, New York University) is a specialist in Spanish Baroque art, and has lectured widely on drawings, paintings, and patronage. She is author of essays and books including “Spanish Drawings in the Princeton University Art Museum_”(Yale University Press, 2013) and “The Religious Patronage of the Duke of Lerma,1598-1621” (Ashgate, 2009). In 2010-11 she co-curated “The Spanish Manner: Drawings from Ribera to Goya” at The Frick Collection, New York.
